“Another tab or person has saved changes”
Someone (a referee, another tab or your other device) saved something in the tournament after you opened the page. Nothing has been overwritten: note down your change, tap “Reload” and redo it if it's still needed.
- First of all, write down on paper the score or change you were about to save.
- Tap “Reload”.
- Find the match: the referee may already have entered it. Check under “Finished (n)” too.
- If it's still needed, enter it again and save.
It happens because “Today” doesn't refresh itself. If someone saves something in the tournament (a referee from the scorer, you in another tab or on another device), your page is left with an old version. TournAI doesn't let an old version overwrite the new one: nobody else's changes are ever overwritten.
Anything you'd typed in the window that hadn't been saved is lost when you reload. That's why paper comes first.
To avoid it: one person per match (either the referee on the phone or you in “Today”), only one dashboard tab open, and reload before scoring or moving a match.
