Teams and matches on the club website
In “Club website” › “Teams and matches” tap “Add team”, and inside each team “Add match”. Once it's played, tap “Add score”. Each team can also show the official standings of its league.
- In “Club website”, scroll down to “Teams and matches” and tap “Add team”.
- Type the “Team name” and, if you like, the “Category (optional)”. Tap “Save team”.
- Tap the team's name to open it and tap “Add match”.
- Type the “Opponent”, choose “Home” or “Away” and fill in “Date”, “Time (optional)” and “Venue (optional)”.
- Tap “Save match”.
Once it's been played
- Open the team and, on that match, tap “Add score”.
- Under “Score”, enter your team's points (“Us”) and the “Opponent”'s. In volleyball, the sets (3-1).
- Tap “Save match”.
- With no date, the match shows as “Date to be confirmed”, at the end of the upcoming ones.
- The score needs both numbers; empty means it hasn't been played yet.
- Won, lost or drawn is worked out automatically from the score.
- “Edit” changes a match and the X deletes it.
- The pencil changes the team's name or category. The bin deletes the team with all its matches, after asking you to confirm.
The website shows “Upcoming matches” (the next one in large, with how long to go), “Latest results” and a card for each team with its fixtures. If the match has a venue (or it's at home and you've added your venue address under “Contact”), a “Directions” button opens the phone's maps.
At most 30 teams per website and 200 matches per team. The website doesn't work out league standings: that's what the official standings are for.
Official standings
- Tap the team's pencil.
- In “Official standings (link, optional)” paste the link to your team's group on any website (its standings or its fixtures), not the federation's home page.
- Don't know the link? Tap “Don’t know the link? We’ll help you find your competition”: we suggest the official pages for your sport in your region (choose the region in “Club details”) or “Search for my competition”.
- If you paste a home page, you'll see “This looks like the site's home page. Paste the link to your team's group instead (the page with its standings) so it shows up directly on your site.”
- Tap “Preview”: TournAI checks that website and shows you how it will appear.
- Tap “Save team”.
The page appears inside the team's card, under “Official standings”, with the “Open on the official website” button. Many websites don't let other sites show them inside: in that case only the “See the standings on the official website” button appears. TournAI doesn't copy or store anything from that website.
What “Preview” can tell you:
- “This site can be shown inside yours: this is how it will appear on the team card.”
- “This site doesn't allow being shown inside other sites. Your site will show a button that opens it separately.”
- “We couldn't check this site. We'll try to show it, and there will always be a button below to open it separately.”
