Final standings and the champion

Once the final is played, the tournament site shows the “Final standings” by itself, with “Champion” and “Runner-up”. There's no third-place play-off: teams knocked out in the same round share the position.

  1. Open the tournament's public site and go to the “Standings” tab.
  2. If there are several divisions, choose yours in the filter.
  3. At the top you'll see “Final standings”. It also rotates on the “TV screen”.
  • Knockout or pools + bracket: “Champion”, “Runner-up” and then the teams knocked out in each round sharing a position (for example, 3–4 for the semi-finalists). In pools + bracket, those who didn't go through are ranked by their group position.
  • League: the full table, once all matches are finished.
  • Group stage with no knockout: there's no single final ranking; the tables for each group remain.

It only appears when the deciding matches are finished. If it isn't showing, check whether any are still pending or a knockout match is on “Awaiting opponent”.

At the moment TournAI doesn't let you add a third-place play-off. If you play one, keep the score on paper and announce the result at the prize-giving.

At the end, the tournament will show “Tournament finished!”: a good moment to send the link to the teams.
