The scorer code doesn't work
Check the current code on the tournament's “Scorers” card: if someone tapped “Change code”, the old one no longer works. With “Too many attempts”, wait 10 minutes or try on mobile data.
- In “Tournaments”, open the tournament and look at the “Scorers” card: that's where the 6-digit code currently in use is. It's one for the whole tournament and all courts.
- If you see “Wrong code.”, send it again with “Share with referees” or “Copy”.
- If you see “Too many attempts. Wait 10 minutes.”, wait, or try on that phone with mobile data instead of wifi.
- If you're in a hurry, score it yourself: from your phone with “Open scorer” (with your session it doesn't ask for a code) or from “Today”.
The code is only remembered in that browser tab. If the referee closes the tab, opens the link in another one or taps “Log out”, they'll have to type it again.
The lock kicks in after 10 failed attempts in 10 minutes from the same connection. On the hall's wifi, several phones can count as one and get locked out at the same time.
If the code has got out, tap “Change code” and send the new one. Do it between matches: anyone scoring with the old one will see “Wrong code.” and won't be able to save until they enter the new one.
