Withdrawing a team from the tournament
In the tournament's “Teams” tab, tap “Withdraw team” and choose what happens to its group matches under your rules: lose them, void the ones left or void them all. In knockout matches, the opponent goes straight through.
- Go into “Tournaments”, open the tournament and go to the “Teams” tab.
- Tap “Withdraw team” next to that team.
- Choose what happens to its group matches (whatever your rules say).
- Tap “Withdraw team” to confirm.
- Lose its remaining matches: they're recorded as “No-show”. Matches already played still count.
- Void its remaining matches: they aren't played or counted. Matches already played still count.
- Void all its group matches: the played ones too. The standings are recalculated as if it had never taken part.
In any knockout matches it was already in, the opponent goes straight through. The team shows as “(withdrawn)” on the website.
Apply what your rules say: TournAI doesn't decide for you and you're responsible for this decision. Before the tournament starts, it's better to remove the team with “Change teams, dates or format”.
