Installing TournAI on your phone
TournAI can be added to your home screen and opens like an app, without going through any store. In “Account” › “Install on your phone”: on Android, “Install TournAI”; on iPhone, from Safari, Share › “Add to Home Screen”.
- Open TournAI on your phone and go to your dashboard.
- Go to “Account” and look for “Install on your phone”.
- On Android (Chrome), tap “Install TournAI” and confirm.
- On iPhone, open TournAI in Safari, tap Share and then “Add to Home Screen”.
- In other browsers, open the browser menu and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
You'll get the TournAI icon on your home screen. It opens full screen, like an app, straight into your dashboard. If you already have it, you'll see “TournAI is already installed on this device.”
- There's no app on the App Store or Google Play: you don't need one.
- You always see the latest version: data and results load from the internet.
- With no connection, a screen tells you so, with a button to try again.
- Anyone who only scores or follows a tournament doesn't need to install anything: the link is enough.
Installing it doesn't make it work offline: you need a connection to score and see results. See “The internet has gone down at the venue”.
