Browsers and phones
TournAI works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer: use an up-to-date one, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. There's no app in the stores, but you can install it on your phone from “Account” › “Install on your phone”.
Everything is used from the browser: the scorer is designed for phones and the tournament website opens with its link, with nothing to install.
- Open TournAI in an up-to-date browser.
- If you use it often, install it on your phone from “Account” › “Install on your phone” (see “Installing TournAI on your phone”). There's no app on the App Store or Google Play.
- Avoid private browsing if you want the language, the team you follow or the tournament prepared without an account to be remembered.
Things that depend on the browser
- Sharing via the phone's menu and copying links: if it fails, copy the address by hand.
- TV screen: keeping the screen on and “Full screen” only work if the browser allows it. Turn off the screensaver on the TV or computer.
- Uploading images: if you see “Your browser cannot process this image.”, try another browser.
- Social media images: if you see “Your browser couldn't create the image. Try another browser.”, do the same.
On a phone, the group editor works with the ⋮⋮ handle or by tapping one team and then the other.
There's no offline mode, not even with TournAI installed. The scorer retries by itself if the wifi drops, but don't close the tab until you see “Saved”.
