Creating your first tournament
Fill in the name, venue, days, courts, rules and teams, then tap “See proposal”: TournAI builds the matches and checks the schedule. You don't need an account until you save it.
- On the home page, choose the sport, describe the tournament in one sentence if you like and tap “Create tournament”: the form opens. At the top you can pick a template under “Start from a template”.
- Fill in “Tournament name”, “Venue”, the “Days” (with “Start” and “End”) and the “Courts”.
- Under “Rules”, choose how it's played: “Match duration (min)” and “Minimum rest (min)” fill themselves in.
- Under “Divisions or categories”, choose the “Format” and type the teams, one per line. You can paste a whole list.
- Tap “See proposal” and check the groups and the “How the courts look” map.
- Tap “Confirm and create” (if you don't have an account, “Save my tournament”).
The tournament is saved as a draft: only you can see it until you publish it.
Double-check teams, groups and times before publishing. Until the first match you can change everything with “Change teams, dates or format”; after that, you can only move matches and adjust the schedule.
The Free plan allows 12 teams, 1 day and 3 courts per tournament; the 7-day trial when you sign up allows 16 teams, 1 day and 4 courts. If you go over, you'll see the limit warning.
